The RCEME Motto – Arte et Marte
Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (RCEME) traditions are rooted in the distinguished traditions of their predecessors. Underlying these traditions is the idea of a soldier engineer as expressed by the Latin phase and RCEME motto “Arte et Marte”, which means “By Skill and by Fighting.” This motto captures and promotes the idea that RCEME soldiers are ready to meet the soldier and technical demands to maintain and support the equipment of the Canadian Army.
