FORUM
1. In an effort to gather the troops, the online RCEME Forum has been created to facilitate distribution of information with respect to the Corps. The intent is to communicate the Director RCEME (D RCEME), the Corps Sergeant Major (SM) and the Col Cmdt’s vision, future plans and face the uncertainties RCEME members might feel. The forum is situated on the official RCEME Corps domain at https://rcemecorpsgemrc.ca/forums/forum/corps/.

2. New user registration. A member wishing to participate in the forum will need to register by:

a. Clicking the “Registration” button situated at the top right of the webpage;
b. After submitting the registration information, an email with a confirmation link will be sent.
c. Click on the confirmation link to successfully register.

3. Limitations and filtering. All posts to the forum will be moderated. In order for a post or reply to be seen, the webpage administrators will first need to approve it. Users (email-linked) who create spam will be banned and will not be allowed to interact again.

4. Monitoring the forum. The forum will be monitored by members of the Secretariat and they will coordinate the questions to the Corps Staffs for answering. Staff members with administrative privileges can also post their response directly onto the forum.

5. If the member would like to post anonymously, they can choose any preferred username. In any case, only the username will be available for other members to see. Other information, such as first name, last name and email address, will never be shared.

1. Dans un effort pour rapprocher les troupes, le forum GEMRC en-ligne a été créée afin d’aider la distribution d’information concernant le Corps. L’intention est de communiquer la vision, plans futurs du Directeur GEMRC (D GEMRC), du sergent-major (SM) et du col cmdt et d’adresser quelconque incertitude des membres du Corps. 2. Enregistrement des nouveaux usagers. Un membre voulant faire usage du forum doit, en premier lieu, s’enregistrer:

a. En cliquant sur le bouton “Enregistrement” situé sur le coin supérieur droit de la page web;
b. Après avoir soumis les informations d’enregistrement, un email de confirmation va être envoyée; et
c. En cliquant le lien de confirmation pour finir.

3. Limitations et filtrage. Tout affiche envoyée au forum sera modérée. Pour qu’une afficher ou réponse soit vue, les modérateurs de la page web doivent l’approuver. Les usagers (relié à l’address email) qui créént du spam seront bannis et ne seront interdit de toute actions subséquentes.

4. Surveillance sur forum. Le forum sera surveillé par les membres du Secrétariat et ils vont coordonner les questions au personnel du Corps pour répondre. Le personnel avec droits administratifs au site peuvent aussi répondre directement.

5. Si le membre désire mettre une affiche anonymement, le membre peut choisir librement le nom d’usager. Seul le pseudo (ou nom d’usager) sera disponible à la vue des autres membres. Autres informaitions, comme le prénom, nom de famille et l’adresse email ne sont jamais partagés.
