Canadian Army Run – RCEME Water Station Volunteering

Update 12 Sept 19: We have received over 60 names to volunteer for the water station! This will be plenty of people to man the station so thank you all for giving your names.

The RCEME Corps 75th Anniversary continues in the NCR! The Corps has been given the amazing opportunity to host the largest water station during the 2019 CAR. There will be a RCEME theme to the water station including a static vehicle display and flags. Ambiance, fun, and complimentary snacks/drinks will be provided to volunteers. Please come out and support not only the RCEME Corps but also this amazing event.

Friends and family of RCEME are welcome to join as well as retirees. An estimate of 1-2 volunteers/table is required, thus for 48 tables = 24-48 volunteers will be required.

Military volunteers will have the option of wearing CADPAT pants and boots with a RCEME shirt or regular shorts and t-shirt if they are more comfortable.

Family/friends will be provided an Army Run volunteer shirt (see to the right). Military personal can also have an army run shirt as a thank you for helping out.

Please provide your preferred shirt size to Nick Bourgon NLT 13 Sept 19 if you want a shirt.

There will be coffee/snacks provided in the morning for those volunteering as well as a pizza lunch around 11:30 if volunteers want to eat. I plan on ordering mostly pepperoni pizzas, and some vegetarian and vegan pizzas as well for those who have identified to me that this is their preference.
